They are looking for a dynamic, experienced and strategic Head of HR (part time) to join the team and help shape the future of their organisation.
The Head of HR will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This strategic role plays a crucial part in developing a positive company culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring the organisation’s HR functions are aligned with business objectives. You will lead HR initiatives in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and more, ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business goals, culture and values.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers and staff on HR policies and best practices.
- Monitor HR metrics and report on key indicators such as turnover, recruitment effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.
- Work closely with senior leadership to drive HR initiatives and improve organisational performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years proven work experience as an HR Manager or other senior HR role.
- Demonstrate ability to work at a strategic level and as part of a senior leadership team.
- Knowledge of HR systems, policies, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience with HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, applicant tracking systems).
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
