As an Organisation Development Consultant, you will have opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment. This is a hybrid role (2 days in office, 3 at home) and my client will consider candidates from any UK location.
The Organisation Development Consultant will help enable the success of organisational strategy by bringing together all parts of the organisation to make sure the ‘system’ operates at its best. You will focus on the ‘hard’ elements of the system (structures, processes, policies, and metrics) and ‘soft’ elements of the system (culture, values, behaviours and relationships) to enhance the employee experience through team and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence and drive the design, implementation, and evaluation of organisational development (OD) strategies to enhance overall effectiveness and performance.
- Manage complex conversations and engage with stakeholders at all levels to present, motivate, and influence change.
- Collaborate with Design Consultants to align structures, systems, processes, and culture for an optimal employee experience.
- Build organisational capability through expert advice and solutions that address challenges and support the delivery of the OD strategy.
- Identify, design, and deliver OD interventions, including change management processes and leadership development programs.
- Conduct diagnostics to analyse needs and inform the development of tailored OD solutions.
- Partner with People and OD teams to integrate OD practices into various agendas, including leadership, wellbeing, and diversity.
- Evaluate the impact of OD initiatives using key performance indicators, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on CIPD standards and participate in professional growth activities to uphold ethical practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Organisational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent experience.
- Professional membership of CIPD at Chartered level or working towards it.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex culture, behavioural, or systems issues using the consultancy model.
- Strong understanding of leading-edge OD and change theories, with practical experience in a complex environment.
- Proven experience in planning, designing, delivering, and evaluating OD and change interventions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of articulating messages to diverse audiences.
- Strong business acumen, linking initiatives to strategic priorities.
- Proficient in current business technology.
This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, however, there is also a similar opportunity available for a permanent contract.
