What you’ll be doing as HR Manager:
You’ll take ownership of the full people agenda – from workforce planning and international recruitment to embedding values, driving engagement, and supporting leaders to get the very best out of their teams. Key responsibilities:
Strategic People Leadership
- Partner with team leaders and the SLT to align workforce planning with budget and long-term goals.
- Lead international recruitment campaigns, ensuring excellent candidate experience and proactive manager involvement.
- Design and coordinate the induction/ onboarding process, learning & development programmes, career progression frameworks, and performance review processes.
- Review compensation, benefits, and policies to ensure global competitiveness.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and wellbeing.
- Manage grievances and disciplinary processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Champion company values, embedding them across the organisation to strengthen culture and engagement.
- Build trusted relationships across teams to support retention and belonging.
Governance, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, right-to-work checks, and contractual documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, and the company handbook, advising leaders on legislative changes.
- Arrange recruitment VISAs where required and liaise with external legal support teams to organise renewals and ensure government compliance.
- Collaborate with QHSE colleagues to oversee H&S practices, training, incident reporting, and wellbeing initiatives.
We’re looking for a people-focused HR Manager with:
- A strong HR background with experience at both strategic and operational levels.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, talent development, and workforce planning.
- International recruitment experience is desirable, including visa sponsorship process.
- Current knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- CIPD Level 5 (minimum) – essential.
